Please uninstall previous AW2 Installation. After that the old Folder is still there, in case someone wants to backup his Maps. If so, do that. If you dont want to backup anything, just delete the folder after the uninstall.
Then install the new AW2 Final. Thats it.

For those who run Vista : better to use Microsoft uninstall cos the one in AW folder doesn't work (for me).
But now, after more then 2 hours of DL : archive file is corrupted.
Can't install new version.
Need to re-DL (2 hours more !! ...), let us see later and play IC, sorry. |

It would help if you could say which Mirror it was you downloaded from. Also, have you checked for the MD5 Hash Value ?
If you dont know what that is, check the AW Download Page for further Informations on that.
Also, what Browser did you use to download ? Its not that simple just to say that it doesnt work and move on just because it didnt work the first time.
I would appreciate some Infos on the things I posted above.  |

It was Lunda's mirror. I have 780 Mb onless 2.41 Ga.
I retry DL on ToF mirror and it works fine.
I love this mod, very great ! Congrats !
I like red rats with razors-teeth lol
Good music at the end of mission, sometimes, cool.
Very good lights, sunshine, dawn, weather and so on.
I just regret my caracter : spetnaz or comsubin (italian, like in ICE mod), could you do something for me ?

I am glad it works for you now.
About the Character we cant do anything, sorry. The reason why we didnt chose dozends of Avatars like in other Mods is that they take a giant amount of memory and that is just not what we want to have. If IC:E for example needs so many Avatars to please everyones wishes, thats fine with me *g* since it lags like hell.
I hope you can understand that. |
